Although phones are the primary way people view the internet these days, this site is best viewed on a laptop or desktop computer. If you must, feel free. Headphones, may improve the experience I am trying to convey.
Vacation time in September 2021. We stayed with some friends in a secluded area of Iowa that shall remain unnamed. I do not walk around having paranormal experiences on a daily basis. I have had some, although they have more to do with the ability to see the future regarding a home invasion a month in advance that came true, and is documented elsewhere on this site. Although this may not seem to be dead on proof to anyone causally observing, things felt odd to me. No fear, but more so as to being confused as to what was going on. So after sleeping through the night without incident;
I noted toys begin to go off constantly in the other room where no one was located. We were in the haunted basement, everyone else was upstairs. After hearing them go off 2 or 3 times, I grabbed my phone and started recording, being as quiet as possible. I made sure to not move my hands on the phone while recording.
I walk out and immediately capture a toy going off by itself, which is just barely captured in the first few frames of the video.
Around 18 seconds later, the toy goes off again for no apparent reason.
As I turned the camera off (of course), and walked out of the room, I heard a baby cry behind me. There was no one there. I wish I had left the camera on just a few seconds longer.

At 1 minute 43 seconds the video captures something i did not hear with my ear drums.
I only discovered this 3 weeks later, as I again reviewed the video. With the volume turned up, it could be interpreted as a gun shot. You must use a computer with a quality sound system to hear this. If you are listening on a phone, earphones may help to what I am trying to convey. My dad, who was a Vietnam Veteran committed suicide by shooting himself in the head in his garage due to his declining health an my mother's who has dementia and can no longer walk and hasn't for years. I had to clean him out of the garage, and that has scarred me for life. As I think about it, I had my laptop up in the room with his Vietnam photo that comes up when the computer is not in use.
My dad and I both shared an interest in the paranormal and anything unknown.
Is this house haunted? I have no idea, but I find the events to be odd. It takes a hell of lot to scare me, I am pretty much fearless to a large extent. This is in relation to facing death a number of times in my life.
I shot a second video, trying to debunk the toys going off by themselves. The toy did not easily go off as I rummaged around. It finally did. Then, without lighting up it says "Coming through, Beep!".
The last odd thing here, is that I tossed a bucket back on top of the pile toys a bit rough to see if it would set it off again, and IT DID NOT. Very Strange.

REPORTS of terrifying "hauntings" have prompted police to break into this house in west Hull. The owner of 39 De Grey Street believes the seven-bedroom house is haunted, with mediums reporting an evil force lurking inside. Dubbed The Hostel by ghost hunters, one woman claims she was pulled by her legs across the room and then pushed backwards with force, while a man describes being dragged from a chair and held against the wall by unseen hands.

The semi-detached house has also been the scene of chairs moving, objects flying through the air and candles blowing themselves out. And with talk of the property having a very dark and sinister past, ghost-hunters claim phantom faces at the window have even led to police investigations. "I lived in the house by myself, and I came downstairs to find steak knives balanced on the plates in the drying rack," said owner Andy Yates. Previous owners have also witnessed paranormal activity, with some spirits becoming violent. "When I put the house up for rent, a woman who had lived there 24 years previously contacted me on Facebook," said Andy. "She told me she had been dragged out of bed and strangled but when the police turned up they told her off and that it was all just a hoax. Just as they were about to leave, a bookcase fell on them, and they ran straight out of the house."

Building clairvoyant medium Jolene Lockwood described the house as "horrific" after paying it a visit where she sensed the presence of an evil entity and a child. "As soon as I walked into the house I just felt this horrific energy," she said. "Then I noticed a woman on the stairs who I believe had been drugged." Along with her business partner Clare Burrows, Ms Lockwood says she discovered a sinister force in the back bedroom after hearing "growling" and feeling the presence of an "aggressive" man. A paranormal investigation is being held tonight at the house, which is fully booked, but those brave enough, and over 18, can sleep over at "The Hostel" on Friday, May 13. Tickets cost £65 and sleeping bags and warm clothes are required.

• House owner Andy Yates found steak knives, which were originally in a drawer, balancing on plates in the drying rack after he had left the room for half an hour. • Andy and a friend returned to the house after a break from wallpapering to find three wall scrapers balanced on the top of the staircase. • A previous owner claimed to have been dragged out of bed by an unknown force. When the police arrived, a bookcase fell on them, forcing them to flee the property. • The shadow of a child was seen hovering in front of the fireplace for 15 minutes before disappearing. People have claimed to have been touched and their hair and clothes pulled in the cupboard under the stairs. • Phone batteries are said to go from full to empty in the space of half an hour. • A visitor appeared to be possessed by a spirit, which admitted killing several children.

- Mrs Newton-John and her husband John Easterling ordered the ceremony
- They flew in a Catholic priest to their Florida home last week
- He was there to cleanse the property with holy water after Christopher Pariseleti, 41, killed himself with a handgun there last month
- Comedian Rosie O'Donnell, who was set to buy the property, is thought to have pulled out
Olivia Newton-John, just can't seem to sell her Jupiter Island house. Last listed for $5.5 million, she has pulled the place off the market after two years. Back in August of 2013 her contractor shot himself in the house, freaking out prospective buyer and more famous lady Rosie O'Donnell, who she was unable to get back even after performing what has been described as an "exorcism" on the house. Since then, the house has kind of just wallowed in its sad existence. "Other homes have been selling on that stretch at about $5 million, but they're newer and bigger than Olivia's"
-----------------
Pop star Olivia Newton-John, perhaps best remembered for her role in the 1978 film adaptation of the Broadway musical Grease, has been attempting for at least two years to sell her $6.2 million home on Florida’s coast. However, she finally gave up this week, defeated by a supposed “curse” that hangs over the house.
104 Lighthouse Dr, Jupiter Inlet Colony, FL 33469
The 66-year-old singer of such 1970s and early 1980s hits as “Let Me Be There,” “Have You Never Been Mellow,” and “Physical,” purchased the 5,500-square-foot mansion at 104 Lighthouse Drive in a Jupiter, Florida, ocean inlet for $4.1 million in 2010.
The “nature inspired” estate has a dock that can house an 80-foot yacht as well as a lagoon pool, spa, and other high-end amenities, according to information in real estate listings.
After just three years, Newton-John and her second husband, John Easterling, placed the lavish home on the real estate market, looking to turn a tidy profit of $2.1 million. They even had a buyer in television personality and actress Rosie O’Donnell. And then, well, things suddenly went south in a big way.
Shortly after Olivia Newton-John listed the property, Christopher Pariseletti, a contractor hired by the star to perform repairs on the property — but who had reportedly been experiencing financial setbacks and even hit Olivia Newton-John up for a loan — shot himself to death with a shotgun by the pool.
Newton-John and Easterling were out of town when the man committed suicide in their home.
O’Donnell, disturbed by the gory tragedy at the home, withdrew her offer to buy the house. Newton-John herself ceased living in the home, instead renting a nearby apartment.
She then slashed the asking price of the Florida mansion by $200,000. But still, no takers.
Even an exorcism performed by a Catholic priest that was supposed to clear the home of “evil” failed to make the house attractive to buyers. The latest listing had the home priced at $5.5 million, a discount of $700,000.
In fact, local real estate agents said that after the suicide, no one even wanted to view the home anymore, much less buy it.
“No one wanted to buy a home where someone had taken their life,” said one agent, quoted by the Express newspaper. “It just had a bad vibe and people were not interested when they found out what had taken place.”
According to public records, as of May 4, Olivia Newton-John — who uses the name Olivia Easterling on the documents — cancelled the sale offer altogether.
