Six people, 2 adults and 4 children were all brutally butchered while sleeping in their beds - its reported the killer or "killers"- hid up inside the family's attic (while they were away at church) waited till they returned home and were all asleep- then attacked- killing all.
Horrifically the murders have never been solved- many reports of haunting surround the home (including recorded EVPs and ghostly children rolling toy balls across the floor, also the opening and closing of the closet door on its own accord.-The Home has now become a popular "haunted" tourist attraction.
SpooksCentral is lucky enough to have an investigator visiting this house near the end of June 2011. Cindy will be bringing her equipment in as well in an attempt to capture evidence of the paranormal during her overnight stay. I will be joining her and a group of 6 people. The cost is $400 for a group of 6, or $75 per person.
I plan to bring several pieces of recording equipment including laptops with motion detection sensors as well as a myriad of other toys to hopefully capture something paranormal. Look for our results sometime near the end of June this year.

It is my belief that this case was very much misclassified as a 'poltergeist'. I have researched this extensively, and it is obviously a case of demonic possession. The 'voice' if you are keen enough to listen to what is being said, how it is said, and in what context, it becomes quite apparent. It even gives them directions on how to get rid of it, in an eerie, gruff voice, in which it is asked to repeat itself. 'BY PRAYING TO GOD.' [clip 12 below].
The 'poltergeist' activity in this case occurred at Enfield in North London, in a council house on Green Street rented to Peggy Hodgson, a single parent with four children. During this time furniture is said to have moved by itself, knocking on the walls were heard, and children's toys were said to have been thrown around and to have been too hot to touch when picked up. A police officer signed an affidavit to affirm that she saw a chair move own it's own at the house.
The events were investigated by Maurice Grosse and Guy Lyon Playfair, who were convinced this was a true case of the paranormal by the evidence they discovered during their thirteen month investigation.
We have taken the original quality audio tapes from another website that had them in .wma format, cleaned them up and analysed them here. We thought, lets take a closer look at these audio tapes here, look for tampering evidence, and export them to a more common format such as .mp3 with today's existing technology so everyone can play and hear these tapes from the Enfield Poltergeist case much easier. NO ALTERATIONS WERE MADE OTHER THAN CONVERTING FROM A FORMAT USED IN THE 1990s [Real Player] TO THE COMMON .mp3 format.

After analyzing these clips, I can find no evidence of tampering in the form of piecing together different clips of sound together. Of course, this does not prove the recordings could have been faked, but there is a lot of documented evidence in this very odd case. I personally feel there is definitely something to this.
There is little if any noticeable impact on the recording as far as converting them to 320 kps .mp3. If nothing else we hope these are easier to play on any computer in .mp3 format.
It is my personal opinion this case has been wrongly classified as a poltergeist. Although it does have many similarities to poltergeist activity, once it begins speaking somehow through Janet, it is more closely related to a demonic possession of some type. It speaks for up to 4 hours at a time, and makes a variety of claims including reading people's minds nearby.
